Former U.S. Congressman and presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich will speak about the importance of publicly owned electric utilities. Kucinich got his start in politics fighting — and winning — a battle to protect the Cleveland municipal electric company, which was on the verge of being privatized. Rep. Kucinich continues to advocate for public ownership of utilities to provide clean and affordable energy for people, not for profit.
